 "My stay"
Was attending a charity ball at the hotel and stayed over. Apart from the serving staff who were very efficient feeding 150+ of us all at the same time, I only had contact with the reception staff who also were very efficient. The only slight complaint I would have is that my fri end's daughter who had help arranged the ball and therefore brought a lot of custom to the hotel, was charged £10 f or breakfast when she only had a cup of tea - the staff should have told her that she would be charged an inclusive amount no matter how much or little she ate.

 "Mandolay Hotel, Guildford"
This is a very pleasant hotel, the staff are friendly and helpful, there was little extraneous noise and overall it was a successful trip.One improvement would be to advertise better the hotel's proximity to London Road railway station. It would have saved a long trek up the hill with bags.

 "I dont think Id stay again."
The hotel was very convient for visiting our daughter in Guildford. However, there was no lift and my husband was not feeling the best. we stayed two nights and the first night there was a lot of disturbance outside with garden chairs being flung around. Because there was no air conditioning ; we had to keep the windows open, but this led to more noise. we were moved to the back of the hotel on complaining and an apology was given. Fans were supplied but no water on the second night.
