 "Weekend Break"
Great location, nice room, breakfast included and friendly staff. We stayed here for a weekend break - the location is very close to Hyde park and a 10 minute walk from Bucking palace. For a 2 night stay, including breakfast cost £408. I would happily stay at this hotel again.

 "beautiful hotel, couldn't fault it or the service"
Gorgeous hotel. Very clean and the staff were brilliant, couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast was fantastic. The location is brilliant, just a 2 minute walk to Oxford street for shopping and marble arch tube station. I am 8 months pregnant and find it hard to get comfortable but that was the best nights sleep I've had in months.

 "Nice stay"
Stayed for a weekend trip to London. Very helpful staff. Nicely decorated modern rooms. Lighting not brilliant for ladies applying make up on a night out though, bit dark! Shame no bar in the hotel, however you can use the one across the road.

 "Customer service at its best"
We spent the Jubilee weekend in London and this hotel was centrally situated for all events as well as easy access to the shops, sights, tubes and buses.We were fortunate as parking restrictions didnt apply and we were able to park right outside the hotel for free.From the doorman to the front desk staff check in was seamless and although our room wasnt ready until 2.45 (check in is from 2.00pm) we were offered tea , coffee and cup cakes while we waited.The room was rather small but well furnished and had coffee making facilities,a safe and a fridge.Had a good nights sleep in comfortable bed with no outside noiseWe ate at the Mountcalm Grill restaurant. This is situated in the sister hotel the Mountcalm over the road.3 courses with a glass of Prosecco £30 and the food was superb and again the service excellent. A nice touch is unlimited complimentary bottled still or sparkling water.Breakfast was a good full English with plenty of fruit,cereals,ham, smoked salmon and pastries on offer.This is a hotel to be highly recommended in our opinion and we will be back.

Pros: Excellent location. clean quiet room. exc facilities. value for money re london
Cons: Didn't realise the hotel was split into3 separte locations - the montcalm(?) across the road; the marble arch where i had to walk to for my breakfast; the shaftesbury where i stayed which was about 50m down the road. therefore didn't use fitness facilities which were advertised as being part of the hotel (in fact at the montcalm). if the weather had been poor it would have been a nuisance to have to walk from one hotel to another for the breakfast. room v tiny but fine for one (even down in the basement). breakfast - no plates to serve from hot buffet. waitress there but seemed oblivious to this; coffee served in a teapot!cold buffet had curled up slices of cheese which looked more than a few days old, omelette vg but served on a cold plate (this hotel is advertised as 5*)
