The Oxford Hotel London  

Busy breakfast!, minimal room, but very clean.THE location was good, very quiet. Outside the hotel were a lot of shops were you can eat.Underground is very close.

Receptionist were very friendly and was very helpful. And location was very good, easy to go around.Cleaner and waotress at breakfast girl was little bit too rude, and we noticed that cleaner had been looked our luggages, that felt little bit sad. other side it was very good for that price.

The toilet was broken. The beds blankets, carpet and curtains were filthy.The rooms were too small.The photos in the site don't correspond to reality. But excellent location, very close to the underground and the staff was nice.

Pros: Check in was swift, the breakfast was simple and you could have as much toast and coffee as you like.
Cons: The only negative was an american guest screaming at 3 am in the morning and the bed was two singles pushed together.

Pros: The staff at the reception is professional and courteous. the room, bathroom and bedding was clean the first time i stayed there. hotel is located very close to the earl's court underground station which makes it convenient to travel to city center and also to heathrow airport. breakfast is good. it is fairly good value for money, because london is expensive.
Cons: We did not have a shower cabin in one of our rooms. the second time we stayed there we had a flood in our bathroom because a person in a room above us also did not have a shower cabin. there are no double beds, all the rooms have twin beds which are just joined together in the double rooms. the beds are also too short for people taller than 180cm. all the rooms are on the small side, but some of them are so small that the radiator is right next to your bed and some cannot fit one large suitcase and two small ones. the second time we stayed we had a blanket with a huge stain on it and when we complained, we got two new blankets, one of them having a different huge stain. one of the cleaning ladies is especially rude. she was stacking milk cartons right in front of our feet when we wanted to leave our luggage in the luggage room, did not let us in the elevator when we wanted to go to our rooms and did not come back to clean the room after i requested her to come back after my morning shower. the breakfast rooms are tiny and packed with people in the morning.

Pros: It is a good hotel in a great location near earls court tube station. the staff were helpful. overall extremely good value for money. highly recommended

Cons: I had the unpleasant surprise of having twin beds instead of a double. the staff could not give me another room and they finally suggested to put both beds together. the shower is the smallest i have ever seen and it broke when i turned it on. overall it was pretty terrible. the price is good and location great, but i had to battle my way to have what i was promised and paid in advance.

Pros: Good location with many possibilities for transportation and food(there are restaurants,pubs).
Cons: A little effectiveness of the staff when we arrived at the hotel and they asked us to pay in advance while we thought that the money had been withheld by the booking(although this was an omission of your website as it was refered on it in small print(rype) that make us not to pay much attention).the floor of our room could be cleaned at least once, but it didn't.

Pros: Customer service,location,safe in room, cleanless.
Cons: Internet charge, small room and baths, poor television reception eevn if is satelite, overcrawded breakfast area and needs change in menu.

Pros: Was upgraded to double room - not really necessary, but room clean and quie spacious.
Cons: Had a confirmed booking for 2 nights - upon arrival at 0900 hrs was instructed to leave luggage in storing room - on returning at 3 pm i was told they did not have a room for me. they booked me in up the road in another hotel. this hotel was old, the room was dirty, and was extremely noisy being next to the train station. <if they had instructed me first thing in the am - i probably could have found somewhere else that would have suited my needs. <however, i did have my booking for the 2 nights confirmed - obviously this does not mean much through your website.

Pros: We stayed in a twin room at the oxford hotel for four nights and i must say we were pleasantly suprised. our room was a bit small but not so much that it was a problem. it was clean, quiet and the ensuite-bathroom was really clean and roomy. the breakfast was ok. it took place in two small rooms in the basement so it wasn´t that cosy, but the breakfast itself was quite good for continantal. the location of the hotel was perfect! it was placed in a quite street with just a 2-minute walk to the underground station earl's court, where both the district and the piccadilly line passed.
Cons: The small breakfast rooms were really crowded and it had no windows so it wasn't a place to sit down and enjoy your breakfast, you just kind of bolt down your food and left.

the hotel staff weren't that friendly. not that they were rude or anything they just sort of seemed a bit indifferent.

Pros: Apart from its location this hotel has little to offer
Cons: Our double room would have been small even if it had a single bed in it.as it was the double bed was tight against one wall with no room for two persons to stand/walk beside the other. the room was on the 3rd floor with velux roof windows at ceiling level so no view! no blinds were fitted to these so an early alarm was not needed. breakfast was a modest affair- hard boiled eggs,toast,tea/coffee/juice and sliced cheese. in our opinion this hotel does not give value for money and i am glad we were only staying 2 nights.
i would not recommend this hotel having stayed in london many times this is by far the worst hotel yet.

Pros: I stayed at this hotel for 1 night only but it was clean and comfortable.the staff were polite and helpful. due to the nature of my visit i did not want to spend a lot of money so the cost was ideal. the reception area decor was bright and clean also, the free use of the safe a bonus. after driving for about four hours it was ideal for me that the hotel was near quite a few places to eat and get a drink.
Cons: The breakfast rooms were a little crowded but depending on how long you are going to stay this is not a huge issue as you are only there for around half an hour

Pros: Great location, just round the corner from earls court.
Cons: The hot water machine was brocken for breakfast and so only coffee was provided, not tea, and i don't drink coffee.

Pros: The location for access to the tube and shopping/eating was fantastic. the room was clean & comfortable and the staff very helpful. ideal if you are spending more time sightseeing than being in a hotel room.

Cons: The triple room did not leave much extra space and required negotiating around the beds and each other to move from one end to the other. baggage could not be kept on the floor. the room was also very warm, however, a fan is installed in the room for use.
