Very arrogant owner, not listening to wishes of the clients. His staff, however, does its best to make up for his behavior. I will never stay in this hotel again, en do not recomment you to do that. Look for something better, even if it costs you more.

"The ladies responsable for breakfast were very kind"
Pros: The ladies responsable for breakfast were very kind.
the situation of the hotel is very good. the bus line 24 going to victoria station, westminster, piccadilly circus) is close by and from victoria station you get every where fast.
Cons: We were upset as we didn't find the things promised on internet and the comments we had seen from other guests were so positive. we had two rooms for our children (13 and 15) and us in the house on the other side of the street. none of the rooms had a big bed for us parents. we took the room with three beds but without a cupboard. we had to put all our cloths on the third bed. we didn't complain, even though the room and the "showerroom" were small, the tv didn't work, there wasn't a chair, phone, cupboard or desk or something to put the wet towels (the children's room only had a cupboard, the rest was missing too) or that the carpets and furniture was old. what really made me upset was, that i had to wash my hair with icecold water in the morning and my husband only had cold water for shaving. i was told that could happen as the system was old. i should take the shower in the evening! after all we got another room after two nights. that room had at least warm water, a desk and a cupboard. the room with the shower was so small that you had to be slim to be able to close the door siting on the toilett or to use the shower. the ventilator was so loud you would awaken sleeping people. noise in the (very narrow) stairway you heard in the rooms. the cleanliness and the breakfast (toast, butter, marmelade, rice crispies and corn flakes) were poor. my husband would have changed the hotel if we wouldn't have payed before seeing the rooms. another couple told us they had water in front of the shower in the morning even though they had not yet used it and there was no water there in the evening before (they were in the main house).
i can't recommend the room except you want to be rather central and don't care at all about the rooms and facilities.
