 "Nice budget hotel"
This was a last minute book which turned out pretty much ok. The hotel is situated in a very nice neighborhood only 5 min walk from Bayswater St and Queensway. The 1st impression from outside the hotel was excellent but I was slightly disappointed from the size of the rooms. They are small & I when I say small, I mean really small.But the sleeping quality was great. No noises from the other rooms, nice bed and lots of natural light with a view to a park. The room was cleaned daily from the hotel staff and the road in front is super quiet. I hardly ever heard a car passing by.Being an old building the floor was cricky in the corridors but nothing more. The hotel needs refurbishment since the carpet was old, the chair very used and the curtains as well but remember, this is a budget hotel. If the price you get is fine, go for it. Would stay there again. The only bad thing is that there was no free Wifi which would be nice.

Pros: Perfect stay! i came early, but could still get my room right away. the staff was very helpful with everything that i needed. nice and clear room. i feared that the room would be very small, but it is not (single room). there is everything that you need, good bed, work desk, tv, toilet and shower, safe and so on. i will definitely use the hotel again!
Cons: A bit noisy, but very little.

Pros: it is very clean. it's near bayswater or queensway station where there are many halal food restaurants available nearby. i enjoyed my stay.
Cons: no negative experience. if only the room rates include breakfast would be an added advantage.

Cons: The only down side i would say is that you have to pay extra for the internet.

Pros: Umi was an excellent hotel, the rooms were a good size. the decor was modern and stylish, all for a very good price considering london is so expensive. the concierge was very helpful also. he booked our theatre tickets, bus tickets etc.

The 1356 Restaurant and Bar is a casual establishment with great-value freshly prepared British food, a wide selection of wines and a great choice of refreshing cocktails. The menus change regularly to make the most of the seasonal produce and local supplies. All food is cooked fresh and can be ordered with the resident chef and delivered to your room. The hotel also caters for business lunches, romantic dinners and private functions. 1356 Restaurant is open for dinner from 18:00 until 21:30, and the bar is open until midnight.

The hotel's in-house Yumi Coffee Shop serves a variety of breakfast from 7:00 until 12:00, and then light lunches and snacks during the day. Yumi Coffee Shop also serves wines and other beverages so you can relax with a complimentary newspaper or a magazine, catch the latest sport or music, or make use of the Yumi Internet terminals.

The hotel also offers full English breakfast between 7:00 and 10:00 on weekdays and 7:00 to 11:00 on Saturdays and Sundays, at a surcharge of GBP 9.95.
