 "Budget"
I stayed at this hotel for three nights. The general appearance outside and inside is dated and tired looking. Worn carpet, torn upholstery. The rooms are no different, but the bedding and towels were clean. It is very cheap though, so I guess you get what you pay for. The saving grace was Margaret on reception who was smartly dressed, proffesional and efficient - so much better than other staff loitering in groups not wearing uniform.

Pros: The room was generally very good and the hotel staff were helpful and friendly.
Cons: I was shocked to find pubic hairs on the walls in the bathroom implyinmg that whilst the bathroom furniture had been properly cleaned (and it was one of the cleanest i've ever seen) the walls had not been cleaned down after the last person stayed in the room.
the breakfast is very expensive for what you get. tea and coffee stands in flasks to keep keep warm, the cold selection is very limited, and the hot selection stands on hot plates and does not look hot much of it resting in congealed fat. personally i would say book the hotel - it's great but go elsewhere for breakfast!

Pros: Close to airport. staff initially stated breakfast was not included in tariff but when shown "easy to book" internet print out agreed to include breakfast
Cons: Room especially bath was not clean. however linen was clean and fresh

 "The staff are friendly and helpful"
Pros: The staff are friendly and helpful. the rooms are sizeable, clean and tidy. location is close to the entrance of the motorway and very convenient to go anywhere if you are driving.
Cons: The response of the hotel staff is slow. we need to replace a light bulb and it took several calls and 2 days to happen. the motorway is next to the hotel so is rather noisy in the room even with all windows closed. but in a hot day, it would be too hot to stay inside since opening the windows is not possible and there is no air conditioning in the room. the double bed is rather small by hotel standard.
