 "Would not recommend economy room"
We stayed for one night on a economy room without a window and the heat was awful. The fan was poor ams did very little to lower the temperature. TV was very old did not have many channels bbc 2 did not work. Decor was old a d in need of repair wall paper was hanging off the wall. Bathroom was quite clean but was old and looked grimy around the edges. £75 is not good value for money. location is the only thing good about this hotel, but I would stay in a premier inn just up the road over sachas. Never again.

"I will not stay here again"
My room was never cleaned the 3 days I was there. Although 2 days were booked with breakfast and evening meals, I never had evening meal and yet I was denied morning breakfast on Tuesday morning. when I complained, I was given complimemtary breakfast on Wednesday. I also noticed there wer few profesional ladies.

 "Awful hotel, Great location."
Extremely run down hotel, dirty, lifts broken, showers that don't work, TVs that don't work - whatever you can think of it will probably be broken in some way in this hotel and so don't stay here if you are looking for a standard hotel. The only reason we stay here is because it's so cheap and the location is spot on when my friends and I fancy a night out in Manchester p

 "Good budget hotel"
You get what you pay for. Rooms were small and old but worth what we had paid. If you're looking for a place to spend the night - I'd say it might as well be here. At around 25 quid for the room so I cant really complain. No noise through the night, breakfast was ok and service was ok.

 "great location"
hotel was city centre which was great, chose a smoking room which was nice to get,but always smell a little would have helped it there was a decent extractor as there were no windows in the room being a budget room, was also really hot had to strip once indoors, fire alarm woke me at 6.45am woke up in a pool of sweat would stay here again but maybe not in a budget room

"If you want to keep your luggage in the reception... WAKE UP EARLY"
Our bus departed from Manchester on Sunday at 5:35. We wanted to visit some places in the morning after checking out, but the hotel staff told us that the luggage room was full, so we had to carry our suitcases for three hours around the city. The only place we could leave them was the train station, but it was really expensive, so we decided to come back to the hotel. After a while, we were allowed to keep our bags there, but we had lost the half of the morning. The staff is really rude because the reception is not well organised and guests are complaning all the time.Anyway the situation is perfect for visiting Manchester city center, so if you find a LOW PRICE this hotel is a good option. Don´t expect too much and enjoy Manchester.

 "Weekend in Manchester"
The hotel was a bit run down and had a funny style, but actually it was clean and the staff were very nice. When we checked in we had to wait an hour because the system was down but the staff were very apologetic and offered drinks while we waited. The hotel was great value for money, in a very cool area of Manchester.

 "Worst Hotel ever ..."
The location of the Hotel is great. Close to Piccadilly Gardens, you can reach most of the Manchester Centre by foot in 10 minutes or less. The room was horrible. Now windows, small, very dirty. The wallpaper was coming off the walls. Not all lights worked. Bed sheets were okay. At least one of two "fresh" towels had stains on it. The TV was very, very old and only had ten channels. The bathroom had holes in the ceiling, rotten wood decorations and nasty dirt in between the bathtub and the walls. Also, lots of silicone to "fix" stuff.Overall the worst Hotel I stayed in. Ever.

Cons: -we were given room 401 in manchester britannia sachas hotel. the room had no window to start off with. that wasn't stated anywhere on the website before booking. i did ask to change room but apparently the hotel was full.
- the air conditioning wasn't working in the room, so the room was very hot.
- the bathroom door was broken, as if someone tried to force the door open previously.
- the carpet was just dirty and it wasn't fitted properly, so you could see the carpet underneath which was red and the floor too.

-the bathroom was dated and not very clean, but mainly the celling above the bath wasn't fixed properly. i didn't want to take a shower incase water got into the electrical lights of that celling.
- the breakfast buffet was ok except
- the slice of black pudding was dry and hard ( maybe not many persons eat black pudding, maybe just have only a few slices at a time or put a lid on the container.)
- the bacon seemed as if the slices where cooked to close together on a tray and ended up being thick pieces of bacon instead of regular slices or bacon.
- then the sausages were bangers and not sausages.
