Premier Inn Manchester Airport  

Never been to Manchester, so me and my partner went for a weekend. On arrival we wanted a sneaky nightcap, but the bar was closed, as we arrived at almost 1am. The staff let us know options of where to get drinks (Travelodge across the road had a bar that was open til 1am). The room was neat and clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was small, a large shower cubicle, with a seat and a toilet, but the sink was placed just outside, which was convenient for when one of us was occupying the bathroom. It was a very comfortable stay, quiet, very warm (how I like it), very clean, and spacious. There were a few little issues, the shower got very hot randomly, and the toilets flush button was difficult for me to press (my partner managed to flush it with no problems). We brought the shower issue to the staff who said it was due to the showers being new and adjusting, apparently it was happening in a number of rooms, either turning very cold or very hot. They offered to move us to another room, but it was not enough of a problem for us to want to move. The last morning, as we're late sleepers, we went for breakfast at 11:25 (breakfast ends at 11:30). After paying for breakfast and checking out, we were told that, it was very late for breakfast and there wasn't much option left on the buffet. They then refunded me the money for both breakfasts, and gave us breakfast free, even though there was quite a selection left... Sausages, tomatoes, bacon, cereal, a selection of juice, a selection of cereals, milk, they even took out some extra bread, and offered us coffee for our journey home. Overall, this is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The service was brilliant, and the problems that did occur, were not big enough for us to really complain, especially with the effort that the staff put in to making it a good stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel, and would definitely stay again.

Check in was a bit iffy as the booking didn't tell me if I was in the Premier In Manchester Airport NORTH or the SOUTH version over the road and initially they said they were overbooked even though I'd confirmed and paid 4 hours earlier and driven from Hull on the strength there was a bed waiting for me. I didn't have breakfast so I can't comment. Room smelled a BIT but it seemed clean and I would go there again. Without risking dropping any lower in the market, I reckon this is your best bet if you just need a clean place to kip because you're collecting someone early at machester Airport. All in all, yes, I WOULD go here again.

I loved my stay in the Premier Inn, we didnt hear the plaines coming in it was noiseless they offer you a shuttle and taxi for £3-£6 to the train station. the breakfast was a bit slow but the staff were wicked

YES, AS IT SAYS ON THE 'TIN' THATS HOW IT WAS, hubby found the heating to be u/s, but room temp was fine anyway. Bed was spot on. Would stop again. One problem, it took 3 attempts to cook the steak the way he wanted it, 'WELL DONE', but they got there in the end. All in all , very cheerful team, and a good Hotel.
