Hotel management was unable to guarantee safety of any items left in room, or in the car park, or indeed that unwelcome intruders could be kept out of the hotel. there is a card message in the room that states this specifically. in other words, the hotel is in a "rough" area. the hotel staff were all very friendly but the prices are too high given the security issue both inside and outside the hotel. this does not mean that you are going to get attacked the minute you step out of the hotel but many people will feel intimidated. the admittedly short walk into town from the hotel is bleak to say the least and should not be done by women walking on their own at night.Anonymous
