Pleasure Beach is one of Blackpool’s most popular attractions for both locals and tourists. The name, however, is something of a misnomer in that Pleasure Beach isn’t exactly a beach at all. Rather, it’s a full-scale amusement park that offers thrills suitable for everyone from children to adults to well-seasoned thrill seekers who thought there was nothing left to shake them.

Pleasure Beach features over 125 different rides and attractions, so visitors to Blackpool who are looking for something to do can take their pick and find one that suits them. Currently, the park features the Pepsi Max Big One, an upside down roller coaster known appropriately as the Revolution, and the famous Grand National, a twin tracked roller coaster. In addition, there are plenty of shows to entertain everybody including seasonal ice skating, and “adventure golf”, a souped-up variant of the classic miniature golf we all know and love.
