Belhaven Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches in Scotland with is long extensive shoreline covered in golden sand. Located within the John Muir Country Park the beach stretches all the way from Belhaven up as far north as the River Tyne. The beach is wonderfully sheltered by an extensive sand dune range and also features unique eco-systems including a rich salt marsh and colourful grasslands unique to this area in the UK.

If you are a passionate walker than this beach is a most see attraction as it is ideal for relaxing strolls along the shoreline. While the weather is always unpredictable in Scotland, however if you are lucky enough to be visiting during a hot spell then there is few places more wonderful to go for a picnic or sunbathing. The bay also offers amazing views out across the Forth Estuary, and for the more adventurous tourist cliff top walks along the Dunbar pass.
