This Gallery offers each visitor a unique opportunity to get to know some of Scotland’s greatest achievers through a visual history of the country. The history is told through the hundreds of portraits on show in the Gallery and show images of the great Scots who have spread their influence throughout the world including royals, poets, philosophers and heroes as well as some of the more unsavoury characters of Scotland’s past including rebels and villains.
