Pros: Very close to royal mile and train station (3 blocks). excellent brewpub (dog brewery?)next door. good party lounge part of complex.
Cons: Hotel is hard to find unless you know the two level structure of edinburg. check your room first our room had no blinds so we got moved because no maintence on site during holiday. room old and minimal upkeep done. it may be risky walking close streets at night (dark, enclosed and empty).

Cons: Breakfast was supposed to be included in the price, but in the end we had to pay for it...but worst of all, breakfast was a cup of coffee and some biscuit-cracker thingies. other than that, the location is fantastic.
