 "Excellent stay at the Scotsman"
Very good hotel, a nice upgrade on arrival. Excellent room and service. It would have been helpful to have a better B&B rate. It's important to know where to drop off on arrival but the staff quickly helped with the solution. Great with my little bit and the swimming pool area was fantastic!

 "A great hotel but a few wee points"
Room excellent, thou hotel very warm uncomfortably so, service as you would expect, but breakfast was on the 3 days we were there under resourced , there is something special about ordering your breakfast , buffet did not work , ran out of items stood about waiting thou good quality produce, overall very enjoyable and would definatley rebook ...

 "great weekend away"
very pleased with our choice of hotel, weekend away with my wife, 3 nights, "study room" with breakfast, large room, comfy bed, pleasant service, good breakfast, nice pool and sauna - will be booking here again when in edinburgh!

Pros: Handeled an unpleasant situation well
Cons: Room was not available when we arrived for the first night ( overbooked) hotel made reservations at other hotel and transfers but then the next day had to relocate back to scotsman hotel wasted time on short trip
