 "Beautifully decorated but lacks something"
Looking around the hotel you can tell they have spent a fair bit of money's king it look modern and classy. Look underneath the wall paper and the hotel is dirty. Room was beautiful, big and well decorated but ceiling was full of cobwebs, damp walls and the bathroom was utterly disgusting. The showerhead was full of gunge. Really gross. Location was spot on over looking the park. Having left the hotel after complaining about cleanliness we went around the side way to the street parking and was confronted by a huge rat running out the drain to which I screamed. Not the best ending to put dirty weekend but we had fun and by the sounds of it so did our neighbour... Yes the walls are very thin

The hotel wasn't bad for what I paid, however it definitely needs some tlc. The heating in my room was broken on one of the coldest weeks of the year, I informed reception and they assured me it would be fixed for my second nights stay and gave me a portable heater to plug in. The heating did not get fixed at all which disappointed me. When I was in my room I could hear staff arguing outside and swearing. This was not good. Also on my second night there were guests having arguments right outside my room, and it took too long for any staff to come and sort it out. I would still say that on the whole the staff were friendly and helpful though. I would not stay here again though.
