The Train Station in Derry or Londonderry is a terminal station. It is at the end of the line. It is part of the Northern Irish Railway’s (NIR) train system. The Waterside section of Derry is home to the train station. Here you can catch trains to Belfast every day. The route to and from Belfast is part of the major train route oferd by the IRA. It is not an express route. The trip includes stops at many smaller centers. These include Ballymena, Castlerock, Coleraine, Limavady and Portrush. If you wish to continue further on bus, the train provides customers with a free shuttle service to the bus terminal.
