The U.K. is home to so many wonderful attractions that are ideal for people who are visiting there on vacation it may be difficult sometimes to choose just which ones to go to see on your first trip to the U.K. Some of the best things to see when there are actually on the tiny area of St. Mary’s Island, on the coast of North East England. This island though tiny is home to some amazing sights to visit on vacation there.

One of the nicest and most intriguing things on this tiny little island is the St. Mary’s Lighthouse. The lighthouse is no longer functioning as a lighthouse but when the tide is low enough it is open to visitors who want to know more about the history of the lighthouse and of lighthouses in general. There is, located in the lighthouse, a café, a small museum, and a visitors center.
