 "Courtyard by Marriott, Gatwick South Terminal"
We use this hotel when catching an early flight from Gatwick, really like the location and the room facilities. Possible to find a cheaper Gatwick hotel but the location makes this one ideal and the walk to the Terminal in the morning is no problem if the weather is okay

we enjoyed the hotel, excellent location for the airport, high standard of service and cleanliness. lovely rooms will stay there next time we need the airport. would have liked a free bus service to the airport, and car park a little expensive. breakfast superb.

 "Layover"
A long layover gave me the idea to have a comfortable rest before my next flight. Getting a few pounds from the airport ATM will provide the six pounds round trip for the shuttle to the hotel. The buffet breakfast was satisfactory and service good. It was a comfortable stay.
