One of the top sights of Anaheim is Angel Stadium. It has been a main staple of Anaheim tourism since it was built in the 1960’s. Angel Stadium is home to the Los Angeles Angels baseball team and is top of the things to do in Anaheim. Visitors can enjoy the stadium while taking in a game by the Los Angeles Angels baseball team.
Angel Stadium saw its first game in 1966. At that time the stadium had three tiers and seated 43,204 fans. The park is complete with escalators, elevators and ramps for access to the various seating. In 1979 a major renovation took place which enclosed the stadium and increased seating to 65,158. It was also used by the Rams football team until 1995. More renovation was in the future and today Angel Stadium seat 45,113 fans. Angel Stadium has been known by a couple other names including Anaheim Stadium and Edison International Field.
