 "Disneyland & Universal trip"
We had an ok stay. We had a few problems with our room, toilet plugged and shower running very slow. The carpets definately needed to be cleaned, they were filthy. We asked the manager to trun up the heat on the hot tub, as it wasn't very warm. He assured us that he would send someone right down, and we waited a half hour and no one showed up to turn it up. Very disappointed. For the money it was a ok place to stay, but for comfort, stay somewhere else.

 "A Pleasant Stay"
For the price charged, our experience at this Days Inn was pleasant. The rooms are clean and have better lighting than when I was here a year ago. Also, the pool area looks lushly tropical and provides a nice view from most rooms. For breakfast, donuts, cereal, bagels, juice, milk, and coffee is served at no charge, which was a big plus for us for our large and ravenous group. The staff was friendly and accommodating and were happy to help us when needed. There is a major shortage of parking at night, especially when Disneyland closes. But, the staff did allow us to park in their shuttle van space until other spots opened up in the morning. This hotel is in a safe area, but I would not encourage families to walk to Disneyland. Instead, I would suggest that families utilize the free shuttle. There is a shuttle schedule located at the front desk. The last thing which I feel needs to be mentioned is there may be a few ants in the bathroom in the early morning. Since I was only in the room to sleep and spent most of my day at the parks, I didn't mind this too much. Overall, I think this Days Inn is a good value and provides easy access to the parks.

 "Non smoking rooms smell cigarette smoke..."
I rented two rooms and both 2-queens. Right after my wife and friend opened the door, we smelled cigarette and mold. We approached the front desk and informed them about the situation and requested to move us in different rooms. When we checked the other rooms, they also smelled the same. We did not have any choice and time since our kids are already sleeping in the van and pretty late. Luckily, we brought our own air freshener and were able to get rid some of the smell. The front desk guy informed us that they will give us discount but got nothing. Breakfast is ok. Its good than nothing.
