 "Great value for money in good, central location"
The hostel was in a good location right in downtown. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfy and spacious with good facilities. The shared bathrooms were reasonably clean with decent showers. The breakfast was good for hostel standards- waffles, cereal, nice juice and hot drinks. Overall great value for money. Would recommend and will stay there again if we return to LA.

 "my stay at Stay on Main"
For the price, it's awesome. The staff are ultra nice and helpful.One thing to be aware of if you stay here -- you can hear everything that's going on in the hallway, so if you want to sleep well (esp in the daytime), you'll need ear plugs. It was a bit cold in the room, and my TV lacked a remote. But for the price, I'm not complaining.Also, you will need your room key to access the bathrooms & showers.

 "Brilliant value hotel"
Read bad reviews about this place so were worried about staying there. There was nothing to worry about. Placed in a good area. Happily walked round. Was not dodgy as people have said. Have stayed in a lot worse situated places. Room was perfect. Had a tv and an iPod dock. All the staff were really helpful and friendly. Looked after our luggage as we were early for check in so we could go out. Only stayed for one night but would definitely go back again and recommend it to everyone.

 "Stay on Main"
I really liked this hotel but there were a few down sides. I had a friend who lives in LA come visit me and they were not allowed upstairs for "security" reasons. They did offer to allow me to pay a small fee but I thought this was completely unacceptable. Also the 2 twin beds is fine but they should really consider adding some full beds to their hotel.

 "LA jaunt"
Although the hotel initially "lost" my reservation (done via a third party site,) I was lucky enough to call, email and sort it out before my check-in. Needless to say, once I arrived, the Stay was clean, modern, friendly and in a prime location near all amenities and social places. The breakfast in the morning was a nice touch too. I would definitely stay in the hotel again. And this is coming from a traveler who has stayed in the Ritz even 6 star hotels. The Stay is a great value for money in a prime location in downtown LA.

 "Nice location"
Pros: Nice location
Cons: On your website, it says that stay hotel has parking - but it doesn't. i had to pay additional $15 to park my car in the neighboring car park. that would have been okay, had it just said that on the webpage.

 "The staff were excellent, and were always happy to help"
Pros: The staff were excellent, and were always happy to help. they even printed off route map to certain locations without me even hinting at that, which was very nice. the rooms were clean and well equipped. the lobby was very stylish and the wifi and bank of apple mac computers were a great asset.
Cons: The area is a little dodgy at night, meaning it is probably not advisable to walk on your own. however, the hotel is right next to a bus stop and there were always taxis around to get you to a nicer area if that is what you desired!

 "The hotel is well located"
Pros: The hotel is well located.
Cons: Knowing that not all the rooms were occupied, i had to be given a room which was the last one along the corridor and the room door faced the toilet. the air conditioner was not working well in the room. although the staff was informed on the air conditioner but nothing was done such that i had to switch off the aircon and opened the window and used the fan instead. due to this, i lost sleep as the street was bustling with cars throughout the night.

Pros: Room was comfortable, slept well. very close to my daughters apartment
Cons: Thought i had booked a queen room but ended up with 2 single beds. did not say anything at the time. the bathrooms are pretty poor..could have warned me ahead of time there is no toilet paper in there

 "The hotel was better that i expected"
Pros: The hotel was better that i expected. the location was great and the atmosphere was amazing. it is a really amazing concept, especially for young travelers. the hotel is worth is price for sure.
Cons: Parking overnight is hard to get, i had to wake up at 8am to put money on the meter but if you don't have a care it is still a great location.

Pros: Staff were welcoming and friendly; hotel was clean and appeared to have been recently decorated.
Cons: The website had said that there was free parking, which contributed to our decision to use this hotel. parking was, in fact, $16 per day.
