Kimball Park is a 27 acre park managed by the San Diego Parks and Recreation Department. The park is one of San Diego’s oldest, having been established in 1887. When you’re visiting this beautiful town, Kimball Park is a great place to go on a family picnic, or just take a quick stroll. The park is located centrally, at “D” Avenue and 12th Streets.
While visiting Kimball Park, don’t forget to check out the Veteran’s War Memorial right on the park’s property. There is also a Civic Center and Public Library, snack bar and a great play area on the property.
