Moscone Center San Francisco

The Moscone Center is San Francisco’s largest convention and exhibition center. The center is located near downtown and offers access to some of San Francisco’s best hotels. Because of the many conventions held at the center, you’ll find a large concentration of San Francisco’s budget hotels close to the Moscone Center. The Moscone Center consists of two underground halls located beneath the Yerba Buena Gardens and a three level above ground hall located across the street. The center was built in 1981 and named after George Moscone, a San Francisco Mayor who was assassinated.
