 "A very pleasant stay..."
The hotel is at the top end of Market Street which is some way from Fisherman's Wharf but a streetcar will take you there in 20 minutes or so for $2. There is some good bars and places for food very close by. It is also reasonably close to the financial district, shopping district of Union Square, and the famous Haight/Ashbury area. If you have any questions or need any assistance the staff are more than happy to help. Couldn't fault the staff actually, they were very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are on the basic side and can be a bit noisy due to traffic but this would definitely not stop me staying here again as I slept with no problems at all. All in all, good value and a comfortable stay.

Cons: The room was noisy due to trafic on the marketstreet. it looked that the trafic was inside the room. isolation of the windows (it's now single pane,) could solve the problem, that will make the hotel more attractive to stay. i was offered to change the room, but i could stay else where (friends).
