Pros: Staff were friendly but only around 9 until 5. clean room. cheap(ish) .
Cons: Very very small bathroom. very noisy (lots of street noise, plumbing etc). softer bed than i would normally be comfortable with. very poor internet ($3/day). on the edge of a less-salubrious neighborhood. rooms cleaned every 3 days.

Pros: This hotel had mostly good reviews, but so many other lower priced hotels had scary reviews that i didn't know what to expect. i took a chance and was very pleased: very clean room and bath, comfortable (if spartan) bed, appliances that i wasn't expecting, helpful staff, great location. small room, yes, but worked so well for this one night stay that i will stay here for longer visits in the future.
Cons: From my room, you could hear other guests plodding on the stairs, but that wasn't a big deal for me.
