 "Don't do it!!!"
The hotel is located on an area of Market that is one way - we drove in circles for a 1/2 hour trying to get into the parking lot! I called and the bellman, walked us through how to go through alleyways. Parking was $35! Once there, the downstairs was very old and beautiful. Our room was very small and musty. The linens smelled as old as the building. The bathtub was disgusting! We were woken up at 1:30 by the sound of what seemed to be a garbage truck emptying the trash cans and 4:30 by the sounds of trucks backing up. At 7:30 room service banged on the door. There was no coffee/tea in the room or in the lobby, you had to buy it at the Starbucks or their restaurant. I would not suggest this hotel for a peaceful stay.

 "Not quite as advertised"
I'm fairly sure I booked a room with a queen bed, but when I showed up I got two double beds. That wasn't really a problem, but, the bathroom was the size of a closet! it only had a little shower stall, and I was really looking forward to a bath after my flight. I probably ought to have bought shower sandals. :/ unfortunately it was a very busy time, so they didn't have any other room available at all. they were friendly, though, and the bed was comfortable.the internet mostly worked on the 4th floor, although the signal was weak and I had to log in again every day. and when you log in, remember to click the "continue" button after it says you're logged in, because it's lying. it took me a couple of days to figure that out.oh, and the elevators are slow. very slow. be prepared to wait 5-10 minutes to get out at peak times if you're not able to take the stairs.

Pros: Centrally located, nice decoration from the start of the 1900's.
Cons: Rooms are small and noisy and bathrooms need to be renovated urgently! they really look 1900's.
