 "Very accomodating!"
Had a lovely stay. Registered for the "select guest" rewards program online prior to visit and got a lot of extra perks (free shoe shine, morning beverage, bottled water, etc)! Super friendly staff, from the receptionist to the doormen to the phone customer service. I called in ahead of time and requested they put me on a high floor with a city view, and they accommodated my request without hesitation. Great value for the money.

 "Wonderful stay"
We were able to get an incredible rate for two nites in a king room. Everything was great, the staff at front desk were polite and effecient, the check-in smooth, the beautiful lobby, the front door men were so nice, the room clean and tastefully decorated, the towels in the room plentiful and soft, the bathobes plush. even the soaps were wrapped in tissue paper. The only negative was the parking cost. It added $109 to a two night stay which almost was a deal breaker. At those rates we could only afford to stay two nights, but all the hotels in this area charge a similar rate. The location was ideal though, and this truly was an exceptional hotel and we definitely will return when we can.

Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff. lovely warm cider and apples in the lobby. excellent martini at bob's bar. terrific location
Cons: Could have used directions for getting there. ie. nearest bart station

A possible inclusion in your itinerary, TransAmerica Pyramid is a short distance from this location, as are Transbay Train Terminal and Lombard Street. Nearby Moscone Center hosts numerous events throughout the year.
