San Francisco State University

San Francisco State University in San Francisco is a public, coeducational California university. The school was established in 1899 as a part of the state University system, and is one of the oldest public universities in the entire state. Noteworthy on the campus is the Cesar Chavez Student Center, one of the most uniquely designed buildings in the state. The bottom floors are in the shape of hexagons. Above each of the two hexagons are five-storied pyramids. The pyramids lean into each other at a 45 degree angle.
