The Olympic Club Golf Course is part of an athletic club by the same name. It is located at the border of the city where San Francisco meets Daly City, California. There are actually three separate golf courses that make up the Olympic Club Golf Course. These are the Lake Course, the Ocean Course, and the Cliffs Course. The Cliffs is a 9 hole par 3 course, situated next to the Pacific Ocean. The Lake and Ocean Courses are 18 holes courses that have a par of 71. The Olympic Club is proud to be known as the oldest athletic club in America.
The Lake Course at the Olympic Club Golf Course was listed as one of the Top 100 courses in the United States by GOLF Magazine. The Cliffs Course is quite windy, since it sits beside the ocean. The Ocean Course has changed its layout several times over the years due to erosion and El Nino storms.
