Daytona International Speedway Daytona Beach

The Daytona International Speedway is home to the Daytona 500, which is the season kickoff race of NASCAR. It is one of the most prestigious races in the country. The speedway is 480 acres with drivers from around the world coming to the course every year. It is known as the “World Center of Racing” due to the variety of countries that are represented on the course. The course is not just a racetrack, but also a place for training, instruction and test driving. It is also home to the Daytona 500 Experience which is the official attraction of NASCAR and features the Pepsi IMAX Theater. Additionally, many events are held here every year that are both racing themed and non-racing themed.
