The Museum of Discovery and Science in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is a place of wonder for both children and adults. Its high-tech, interactive approach makes learning fun. And while the kids will enjoy exploring their way through the Discovery Center, adults won’t feel for a moment that they are in a children's museum. One of the most popular sections is Florida Ecoscapes, which has a living coral reef, bats, bees, turtles, frogs, and alligators. In the IMAX theater you can see a rock film, as well as short science related movies. In front of the atrium you can see the 52-foot-high Great Gravity Clock, which is the largest kinetic-energy sculpture in the state. The Kidscience and Gizmo City exhibits are great favorites with inquisitive children.
