 "Good Hotel, once we'd sorted the problems"
I was staying on business attending a convention and this provided a cost effective alternative to the more expensive hotels. Well located a few blocks from the convention centre and close to Ocean Drive. On arrival, the receptionist tried to tell me that my booking had been moved and that I was now going to be at another hotel. Since I had printed evidence that I had booked and paid 5 weeks in advance, this was not what i wanted to hear after 15 hrs of travelling. After about 30 mins she found me a room in some kind of spare room, which didn’t look as if it was normally used for guests. The next day I was able to move to a regular room and things looked up. A basic breakfast is included in the price. This can be upgraded to freshly cooked eggs for $7 by Roy and colleagues in the restaurant. Free wifi works well.In summary a good hotel BUT, I suggest an email to ask them to confirm booking before travelling.

Miami Beach Golf Club is an interesting attraction within walking distance. The area is rich in museums: Wolfsonian-FIU and Bass Museum of Art are popular features in this catergory. Conference facilities in the hotel's near vicinity include Miami Beach Convention Centre.
