"I thought is was a cool funky hotel in a great location"
Pros: I thought is was a cool funky hotel in a great location. the staff were friendly and helpful. its definitely more geared to young couples and singles. the furnishings in the room were arty and i could tell they are going for the modern bohemian look. bed was huge clean and comfy. the location was in the heart of all things cool in south beach. the hallways were kind of dark and some corners had obviously been cut in renovating, but still it was a decent place to stay.
Cons: Try not to book rooms close to the lobby which shares its space with the hotel bar. those wanting an early night sleep might find it hard with music coming from the bar.
Services at Hotel Chelsea are of 3-star level. Ocean Drive is a landmark close to this accommodation; Old City Hall and Casa Casuarina are nearby as well. A nice monument of Miami Beach is Miami Beach Holocaust Memorial, which is close by. During your sojourn in Miami Beach, why not enjoy a trip to Flamingo Park. Access to Miami Beach Convention Centre is no problem from here.
