The third island from the east of the Venetian Islands, Di Lido Island will have plenty of nearby discount hotels. This island, albeit artificial, is absolutely gorgeous. It also has been home to Barbara Becker and Arnie Quinze. The islands are a wonderful retreat and a pleasure to visit. Di Lido Island, like the others, is part of Miami/Miami Beach but has their own associations. The islands have been undergoing some renovation including new walkways and street lamps. New bridges between the islands are a project which should be completed soon.
