Maurice Gibb Park was renamed for the late Maurice Gibb, a member of the musical group The Bee Gees. Gibb and his brother Barry and fraternal twin Robin made music around the world for forty years. The park, once named Island View Park, was important to Maurice Gibb. He came here in between recording sessions to think, meditate, and relax.
