There are many attractions that make South Florida the perfect place for a vacation. Normandy Shores is a Golf Club in Miami Beach, with 18 holes of beautifully landscaped greens, complete with a view of Biscayne Bay. The course itself was expertly crafted by Arthur Hills and includes greens lined with mature palms and other tropical foliage. Players will find the course offers three different sets of tees, playing from as far out as 6,800 yards.
Dedicated in 1941, the course is officially owned by the City of Miami. Although it is a public facility, Normandy Shores is still noted for its elite clientele. The course has played host to such greats as Arnold Palmer and Sam Snead. The city is so proud of this course, in fact, it recently spent more than $9 million to renovate it. Rates per round vary based on the season of play. Full memberships are also available to residents and non-residents.
