Lovely people, ready to help and provide any service.Perfect location to cover Waikiki in a couple of hours.The only adverse comment would be regarding the room: it is very large and convinient but some old fashioned.Consequently we rate 4 on 5

 "Good accommodation choice"
My cousin and I enjoyed a week at this hotel. The room was good-sized with a small but full kitchen and private lanai--really a serviced studio apartment with two double beds. It's a 5-min. walk to the beach and located just off Kuhio where all the Waikiki buses stop. There are lots of eateries in the neighborhood. The complex has laundry facilities and a pool (we didn't use the pool, and note it is small and shady--the beach is "much mo bettah"). You can borrow beach towels and mats at reception. Also, shuttle service to the airport is just $10 when booked through reception. Our room was a bit "tired": the bathroom sink had a crack (which had been repaired) and the wallpaper was starting to peel at the corners, but it was pretty clean, everything worked, and the room was comfortable. Get a room with a mountain view if you can; ours looked out over Waikiki and got the afternoon sun through the ranch sliders without much breeze--the other side of the building would be nicer. Given the reasonable rate, large room size, full kitchen, comfortable feel, and convenient location, we'd happily stay here again. Good value for money.
