Wrigley Field Chicago

The Chicago White Sox won a surprising World Series in 2005, but the more popular Chicago Cubs have not won a championship since 1908, and have not appeared in the World Series since 1945. Nonetheless, Chicago’s Wrigley Field remains one of the most famous baseball parks in the United States. Named for the chewing gum tycoon, it is the second oldest ball park in the professional leagues. Wrigley Field is renowned for its ivy covered outfield walls, its beautiful view of Lake Michigan from the upper tiers, its hand operated scoreboard, the W and L flags that let people outside the fence known how the home team did, and the peek holes in the fence for people who couldn’t get tickets.
