Cons: We left a treasured baby blanket in our room when we checked out at 10am. we went back at 5p to see if we could get it from lost and found, but it was not retrievable - no one found it :-(

Pros: Stayed here only because we could not get out of the request to cancel; uncomfortable for family because cribs not allowed in room due to fire code and website did not inform us of this.
Cons: Attempted to cancel; did so more than 24 hours in advance and within 1-2 minutes of booking and was not allowed to; sought crib and was told that a crib would violate fire codes

Pros: Hotel personnel were very, very nice. room was very quiet, and it a very good location.
Cons: At the high rates charged, wireless internet should have been included - very inhospitable to charge extra for it. a few other details weren't quite right, either. given the hyatt's reputation i expected more.

 "The location was smack in the middle of most of the places we wanted to..."
Pros: The location was smack in the middle of most of the places we wanted to visit. like, navy pier, michigan ave (magnificent mile), millenium park, grant park, near cta transportations (red line to wrigley field), also near the blue line from and to o'hare airport. every restaurant we planned to try was walking distance. room service was on top of it knocking at the door around 8am. the beds are comfortable to sleep on. we didn't get to try any of the restaurants at the hyatt (thought they are pricey for what you get). we were the kind of people to travel out for the real chicago foods! overall the hyatt regency chicago was a great place to stay because of it location for it's price. can't beat it!

Pros: Valet parking service and attendants were efficient and cordial, so were the doormen, concierge, and front desk staff. check-in was quick and painless; electronic check-out was surprisingly easy (had never done that before). the doulbe room that i booked was very clean, tastefully decorated, but a wee bit smaller than i anticipated; yet, very comfortable. very welocming lobby area; great scenery. hotel location is perfectly positioned between grant park, and the magnificent mile shooping distrcit, and oak street beach. had a fantastic stay!

Pros: The hyatt is so large,there are so many restaurants underground that you don't know are there. the location is great, so close to the harris theater and michigan ave. easy access to park and check in or out. nice views from the rooms. a wonderful place to stay and the price was so right.
Cons: The only negative was that there were dirty dishes outside of two of the rooms on my floor for many hours of the day and night.
