Warren Park Chicago

Warren Park in Chicago is the North Region’s largest park, covering almost 90 acres. It features numerous special attractions for each season of the year. Starting in spring, the ever-popular batting cages are open to the public. The nine-station cage gives you a choice of baseball or softball, and pitching speeds ranging from forty to seventy miles-per-hour. You must bring your own bat. For fitness enthusiasts, a paved path winds through the park. It is popular with joggers, cyclists, and people who just enjoy a relaxing, healthy walk. The park’s Robert A. Black nine-hole golf course and putting practice area are located in the northeast end. There is also a racquetball court. Winter activities feature ice skating and downhill sledding.
