 "Short trip but lasting memory"
This Hotel is located on a quieter street but so near the bustle of Michigan Ave and Rush Street. The hotel reminded me of a European Hotel - very quaint and historic. We loved the clean and accomodating rooms with a small kitchenette. We also loved how sound proof the rooms were and did not hear a bit of street noise.

 "Good Price - Terrible Customer Service"
The price and location were good. However, the other guest in the hotel were loud at night (3am) banging on doors and cursing. This happened on several floors (I had many friends staying here on various floors). The rooftop club attracted questionable patrons who freely roamed arond the hotel - security was basically non-existent. At one point we went to the rooftop to see the view and the "bouncer" at the door insulted us in how we looked and how we were dressed and would not let us in. Overall I would not stay here again. Complaints to the front desk about these items were ignored.

 "Almost great"
The hotel served as the center of our week-long enjoyment of Chicago. The rooms were clean and spacious and service was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we needed to use the sofabed for a third adult and the quality of that furniture was unacceptable. We moved to a different room with a Murphy bed that was better. Alas, this room had no outlet in the bathroom and the one in the bedroom was far from the mirror so my wife had to sit on the floor to use the hair dryer. And as with most hotels, supplies of coffee were always for two, not three, requiring multiple calls to housekeeping.
