Loved this hotel! When I arrived, I was immediately greeted by a young man who referred to me as Sir. He came out with the cart to help get our things but when he saw I had it all, ensured that the doors were open for me to get inside! The front desk was extremely friendly and insightful about the area. If you go, you'll probably meet a gentleman by the name of Mr. Fred. He gives his own tour of the lower part of the hotel giving history of this historic hotel, the influence of the distinguished liberal arts college and can even tell you the paint types in the hotel and why they were chosen! It's a beautiful hotel, with a fantastic dining facility! Very affordable breakfast served by the most genuine people. Most of the food is locally grown, even down to the maple syrup and sorghum! I would suggest a trip to Berea to anyone who loves the influence of the arts and truly is looking for a humble place to visit. You'd be missing out if you didn't stay at this hotel! Look for deals online! Make the most of your trip and cash!
