check in with great. no problem with checking in at 1am. recommendations for places to eat and other things were very good. as we are late sleepers we always missed the continental breakfast. the first night 2 women got into a loud argument using profanity at about 3am. the next night someone went out the emergency exit door right next to our room and the alarm went off for quite some time that was about 1am. the last night it was quite windy and 1 of the shutters on the window was not attached to the building so it kept banging in the breeze. all in all not very restful. the staff was friendly. the courtyard was nice. the location was excellent; it gave us a good opportunity to see a different side of the French Quarter.
