 "An Impressive Value"
A lovely Victorian furnished hotel. Beds are super comfy, and the price cannot be beat. Only drawbacks are lack of an elevator, so one has to climb fairly steep stairs with on e's luggage, and bathrooms, though private, are in the hall. Overall, though, St John is a terrific value!

 "Better than expected with a great value."
The Bed was a little uncomfortable but other than that a great stay with a great location. Surrounded by restaurants and attractions in the area was a great value and was more then I had expected for the price I had paid.

 "An absolute gem!"
The Inn at St. John has got to be the best deal in all of Portland. Delightful accommodations, helpful staff , terrific continental breakfast and FREE COOKIES - yum! It was embarrassingly affordable too.
