 "Beautiful hotel... BUT"
The Park plaza is beautiful and historic. I must say the rooms are very old and the bath room leaves a lot to be desired. WE checked in an there was long black hair all over the floor and walls of the tub. Me being extremely ocd about cleanliness found this to be quite disturbing. The housekeeping need a refresher course in Cleaning!! My other two guest said the same about there bathroom as well and that they had hair on their sheets.

 "Lobby didn't accept correctly my reservation made by internet"
I had my reservation confirmation in hands and clerk at front desk tried to say that I've one bedroom reservation instead of 2 rooms reservation. I have to make an argument with her, at noon that was extremely annoying and frustrating. No more of this place for me!!!

 "Nice hotel but expensive WIFI"
The hotel overall is nice, service is average.What surprised me was that there is no complimentary WIFI in the rooms, they were just experimenting with free WIFI in the lobby which caused all the seats being taken all the time. I felt I was being warped back in time about ten years!In my opinion there can be better hotels in Boston at this price level.

 "don't stay here!!"
We made a reservation at this hotel because it was a good value and stated it was the official hotel of the red sox so how could it be that bad?? Boy, were we wrong!! The location is okay, if you like to walk things are pretty much within a few miles, but the hotel itself was really awful. When we checked in we were sent to a room with two twin beds, despite having reserved a kind. I went back to the front desk to tell the girl and she said "well we don't have any twin beds, they are at least double beds, so..." I corrected myself to say double beds and she took about ten minutes to find another room, grumbling to her co-worker the entire time. No apology but her co-worker did ask if she had to call housekeeping for the other room (which we were in for 2 seconds). When we got to our second room, there were dirty room service trays stacked right in front of our door. After stepping over them, we entered the room which was sub-par at best. The a/c unit was so loud we could barely hear each other. Rather than trying to contact the front desk again, I found a card asking to direct any issues to the manager who would gladly rectify the problem. He was not there when I called but I left a message asking for him to contact me. We stayed three nights. I never heard from him. In a nutshell, the rooms are grimy, the a/c was so loud we couldn't sleep and the service is HORRIBLE. Book somewhere else!!

Pros: Nice hotel, spacious rooms, very good value for money (i found a special offer though), i would stay here again
Cons: Room (and bathroom) were not as nice as you would expect in a hotel of this standard (still decent though)

Cons: Yes, the car parking was expensive $40.00 per night, + they damaged the rental car! the bathroom was very small.
