Founded in 1969, it was one of the first public aquariums to open, and completely changed the viewing experience for the visitors by making it into a more natural experience for them. Here you will find sharks, lots of fish, and even turtles, making it a wonderful day out for the whole family to enjoy.
In the 6,967 m² aquarium, the main attraction is the Giant Ocean Tank, filled with 750,000 liters of water. You will be able to look in through the windows at different levels to see the aquatic life within, and it is a fascinating experience. There is also an IMAX theater and a whale watch running between April and October, and these help to attract a massive 1.5 million visitors each year.
