Suffolk Downs was a thoroughbred race track in East Boston, one of the best horse racing tracks in the area. The racing track has a long history, as it was built way back in 1935, making it a historical monument.
Seabiscuit, one of the most famous horses of all and the subject of a recent Hollywood film, ran on the tracks in the past. But it has also hosted other famous guests, as it was here that the Beatles played to their screaming fans in 1966.
