 "Best place on Fairmont"
Hash House restaurant in Plaz is by far the best place to eat. Very clean and upscale. Price/location are good. Staff are nice. Put down fake grass carpet in pool area...burned my feet getting to pool.

We stayed on the 7th floor which is about as high as I want to stay. Check-in was very quick easy clerk Tania was very friendly and helpful.I would like to see the hotel put in a stand for suitcases also, a small refrigerator. I would stay at the Plaza again.

 "Amazing value"
Is this the Wynn? No. Is it priced like the Wynn? Far from it.For a trade show business trip this was a remarkable value. Room nicer than many I have stayed in in LV. Casino and bars? i am indifferent. Hash House was fine. Steak house? Oscars was excellent with really fine steaks and a nice bar with excellent service from Rocky.So all-in-all I will come back to the Plaza.

 "scammed by resort fee"
Easytobook hid a $10 a night fee on page 2. PAGE 1 SAID TAXES AND FEES PAID IN FULL.The Plaza blames Easytobook and we had to pay it.We are not happy with this.Hotel and location is fine but resort fees are a disgrace. Beware

I am quite satisfied with the stay except that there is no fridge in the room. That is really inconvenient for people. And also, there is even no pen and paper to write something on. Should not save of both the fridge and the stationary.

 "Could've booked a better one for the same price"
The people at front desk were polite and courteous. Yes, the Fremont street is right there. Other than that, the actual location is not convenient if you want to walk the strip. The parking is $5. You get reimbursed but itsa hassle. The Chinese couple in next room kept on talking and you could hear them as if in the same room. I asked for and got the room changed but again a hassle and wasted valuable time. The website said noninvasive about the resort fee at the booking time, like the other sites that disclose it upfront. Only after I had booked it I was told. I could get a better hotel for the same price.

The hotel should always enough employees to check people in the line was ridiculous and there were only two people checking in guest. Trying to call my friends room was like trying to find a needle in a haystack, there were no instructions on how to call another room. How was I suppose to know if someone is in a three digit room you dial 40 & room number, if a four digit dial 4 & room #. I had to call the operator which you're put on hold which seemed like eternity. Our room had no remote for the tv, the air condition rattle all night long.The hotel is nice looking, but it needs more upgrades

The Plaza Hotel in Downton Las Vegas does not understand the meaning of customer service. It takes the business and customers it has for granted. At any given time there is a 45 minute wait at the reception which is serviced normally by one and maybe two staff members. Most of the receptionists are incompetent at the Plaza and this is publicly acknowledged by the managers.You can tell as soon as you enter the main enterence that the Hotel has issues as there is a hand writen sign in front of the Concierges desk" I cannot Help you with your room issue"THe managers have a no care attitude. I have left a number of messages for the manager from the 1st day there to two weeks later , and I have still not heard anything.Not that I was looking for any compensation, but in a matter of 4 days I changed three room on three different floors and two towers. I would not recommend this hotel for any business stay EVER and if you do, please remind them at check in not to give you the room that faces freemont street.

 "seven -day stay at Plaza Hotel"
My sister and I paid for rooms with a view but because of noisy wind underneath the doors in the South Tower and the noise of live bands on Fremont Street we were given rooms facing railroad tracks and a Water Treatment building in the North Tower. Housekeeping Service prompt to respond, i.e. no clock, provided quickly; rooms not made up late one evening, someone came and made up rooms.Maid service: at least for three days I had to borrow washcloths from my sister as the floor or hotel had run out of them. Twice, the sink and toilet had not been cleaned. I would recommend hotel to friends, however, mentioning the above.The staff we met were all service oriented and very pleasant.
