We booked a room at the Chelsea Annex, which we have stayed in before. Parts of the rooms are a little dated, but clean. This time, the room was disgusting. When we walked down the hall to our room, there were papers and candy wrappers all over the floor (it also needed to be vacuumed). Our room was so old- there were pieces missing from the furniture, the bathroom was not clean, and the room also didn't look vacuumed. We called the front desk and they did apologize and moved us into the regular Chelsea hotel. The room was large and we had an ocean view, but here was a hair on the wall in the bathroom, one in the shower, and one stuck to the towel. Gross! I was very surprised that ther standards of cleanliness had gone down so much. It unfortunate because the hotel is very cool.
