It was great because I spent time with my husband. We wish that we where able to upgrade our room, the slots were not as generous as we would like. However, the people and the service were really on point.

Bathroom was disgusting and dirty when we arrived. Shower head did not work properly. TV kept messing up, making funny noises.

Nothing spectacular about this hotel. Rooms seem really outdated. Good location. The room was good enough for what we needed.

Pros: Great location
Cons: Lost our reservation. arrived earlier in the day to use spa, front desk person said we could checkin at 2:00. we went back to check in at 2:00 and they said the room wasn't ready and checkin was at 4, we went back, again, to check at 4:30 and front desk said our room still wasn't ready/wasn't cleaned. i asked her if checkin was at 4:00 and she said yes but it wasn't a guarentee that our room would be ready at checkin. i asked her when it would be ready and she said she didn't know. i asked her if there was a comparable room that was available and she said no. after talking with housekeeping for about 5-10 minutes she finally gave us a different room that was available all of a sudden. the room had a nice view but the checkin was a headache. i will not stay here again.

Pros: You get what you pay for. decent enough room on the boardwalk at an affordable weekend price.
Cons: The room had not been completely cleaned. a crusty individual coffee packet was stuck on the inside of the coffee machine. the vending machines in the hallway ate your money. and when interacting with the staff i felt as if i was inconveniencing them. worst part is the walls are very thin. a large group of loud, drunk people where arguing and crashing into the walls all night. at one point (about 3:00am) a man and woman were screaming at each other, right in front of our door. the hotel staff was indifferent. i will defintely not return.
